This policy explains what personal data Webcracy SNC collects when you visit webcracy.ch or get in touch with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have. Visiting the website
The website runs on servers we operate ourselves in Switzerland. Like every web server, ours records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, the response status and your browser's user agent. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and working, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server.
Contact form
When you send the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide it, the service you are interested in, and your message. We use this information only to answer your request and, if you wish, to prepare an offer.
The form delivers your message to our team through Telegram's Bot API, so its content is processed by Telegram, which may store data outside Switzerland and the EU/EEA. The website itself does not keep form submissions in a database. To prevent abuse, the server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and email address in memory to limit repeated submissions; it is discarded after 15 minutes at the latest.
If you prefer not to use the form, you can email or call us instead. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your request, and longer only where the law requires it, for example when it leads to a contract.
Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you choose Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that last up to two years. If you decline, or don't choose, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (USA). Data may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google Analytics keeps event data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months; that period restarts each time you visit again. Learn more in Google's privacy policy.
You can change your choice at any time with the button at the bottom of this page. Declining removes the analytics cookies already set.
What we store in your browser
We save your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (webcracy-analytics-consent) so we don't ask you again on every page. It contains only "granted" or "denied" and stays until you clear your browser data.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Maps, Google reviews and Swiss Made Software. These are plain links: nothing is loaded from those services until you click one. Once you do, that service's own privacy policy applies.
Legal bases under the GDPR
- Answering your request: steps prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Server logs and abuse protection: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Google Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your personal data and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, request your data in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@webcracy.ch; we may need to confirm your identity first.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU/EEA, with your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our website or the way we process data changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
You can change your Google Analytics choice at any time.
